Halloween is a perfect time to unleash your child’s creative side! We have some great ideas whether you are “trick-or-treating” or staying at home to keep your child entertained for Halloween. Try these fun Halloween crafts and activities! ??

1) Carve A Pumpkin

This is a fun tradition to get involved in. You could even go the extra mile and visit a pick-your-own pumpkin farm and bring it home to carve! Design your pumpkin based on how scary you want it to look. There are several guides on You Tube to help you with this, of course whilst supervising your child. Finish off with placing a light in the centre and use as decoration inside or outside the house!

2) Make Your Own Slime

Get your hands stuck in and try making your own slime. This is fun and easy to do! All you need is shaving cream, food colouring (of your choice), liquid glue and some saline solution. Start off by mixing the shaving cream with the colouring, then the glue and finally add the saline solution bit by bit until the slime reaches your desired consistency….Use as decoration or play with it with your friends!

3) Create Your Own Game

Make a halloween edition of Tic-Tac-Toe. This is a fun activity to do with your friends and play during a Halloween party! All you need is small pebbles or stones, colouring felt-tips and some plastic googly eyes (can be bought at your local pound-store or craft shop). Colour in or paint the stones, then glue a pair of googly eyes on each stone, finally create the board by drawing on a grid with a ruler. …..You’re ready to play!

4) Make Your Own Halloween Treat

Edible treats plays a major part of Halloween, whether in Halloween parties or trick-or-treating. Try making this simple but tasty edible spider. This is very easy to make but can be decorated for extra spooky appeal! Use a doughnut for the body, pretzel for the legs and candy for the eyes.

We hope you enjoy these creative Halloween activities….Don’t forget to share your creations with us. Happy Halloween! ?
